Membership & Benefits

Catena-X e.V. offers companies and organizations the opportunity to become members and actively participate in the development of an open data ecosystem for the industry. Membership provides a unique chance to influence technical standards, benefit from a broad network, and gain early access to innovations.

Companies and organisations can apply for membership through a formal application. The process includes the following steps:

1. Application submission: Interested in joining? Start by filling out and submitting the membership application form. You can see a preview of the information requested in the form in our information sheet. Once you have submitted your application, please click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner in MS Forms to save a copy of your application for your records.
2. Capturing an electronic signature from an authorised signatory within your organisation: As soon as we have received your complete application, we will add a field to the application form for an electronic signature from the authorised signatory in your organisation whom you have specified in the form, and we will email them to request their electronic signature.
3. Review: Upon receipt of the electronic signature, the Catena-X Association Management Office will carefully review your documents and conduct a due diligence check. 
4. Approval: If this check is successfully completed, your application will be submitted to our board for final approval.
5. Contacting you: As soon as a decision has been made, we will inform you immediately and, if your application has been approved, we will invite you to a Welcoming Session, in which we will go into more detail about the structures and processes in the Association and the opportunities for participation.
