The Catena-X Association has launched a completely redesigned version of its Catena‑X Basic Training, featuring updated content, an improved learning experience, and a modern new look and feel. The training provides a comprehensive introduction to Catena‑X, including its principles, use cases, governance, onboarding processes, and the broader data ecosystem.
The new training is particularly valuable for consultants and advisory organizations that support companies on their Catena‑X journey, but it is also designed for anyone who wants to better understand Catena‑X or onboard new team members. The self-paced format combines reading material, videos, interactive learning modules, and knowledge checks, allowing participants to learn flexibly and at their own pace.
Transition Period for the Previous Training
The previous Catena‑X Consultant Qualification Basic Training will remain accessible until 8 July 2026 to allow participants already working through the course to complete it.
Importantly, all qualifications already obtained through the previous training — as well as qualifications earned before the transition deadline on 8 July 2026 — remain fully valid until the expiration date stated on the respective Attestation of Qualification. Existing holders of the titles “Catena‑X Qualified Advisor” and “Catena‑X Qualified Advisory Provider”therefore do not need to take any immediate action. This validity principle is consistent with the existing qualification approach, under which previously awarded qualifications remain valid until the date specified on the qualification document.
