Berlin, June 10th 2025 – To further accelerate the adoption of the Catena-X ecosystem, the Catena-X Association has launched the Catena-X Readiness Booster Program (CxRBP). The program provides a structured, modular path to help companies become Catena-X Ready – with clear guidance, onboarding support, and certification that accelerates collaboration across the value chain.

Developed to complement and strengthen the existing ecosystem, the program is particularly valuable for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers looking to enable their networks at scale.  The program’s streamlined and supportive framework aims to level and enhance onboarding efforts, triggering a new epicenter for the ecosystem’s scalability.

At the same time, the program aligns closely with the work of advisory and enablement partners already active within the Catena-X landscape. These service providers continue to play a central role in onboarding companies that engage independently, offering tailored support, integration services, and long-term operational guidance. The Readiness Booster Program adds a structured entry point for OEM-driven networks, while the providers ensure flexibility and depth across all onboarding paths.

The CxRBP follows a three-step journey:

  • Module 1: Structured Training
Participants receive curated training and orientation to prepare for their entry into the Catena-X ecosystem.
  • Module 2: Onboarding and Support
With support from certified providers, companies proceed through the technical steps required to connect to the network, establish secure identities, and begin their first data exchange.
  • Module 3: Certification and Visibility
Upon successful onboarding and use-case validation, participants receive an official certificate of readiness and are listed as Catena-X Ready on a public registry.

“The Readiness Booster Program is our flagship initiative to scale Catena-X globally. It represents a structured, institutionalized initiative managed by the Catena-X Association and its Hubs to streamline onboarding to the Catena-X network,” says Hanno Focken, Managing Director of the Catena-X Automotive Network. It is designed to complement the outstanding work of our advisory and service partners, who continue to be key enablers of onboarding across the broader ecosystem. “We already receive positive resonance – from committed OEMs and program partners ready to scale, such as VW Group, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Ford, BASF, as well as suppliers and solution providers. This demonstrates that the program addresses a real need and will help accelerate trusted collaboration at scale.” Hanno Focken adds.

For OEMs, the program enables consistent, scalable onboarding across complex supply chains. For suppliers, it provides clarity, support, and recognition in a growing digital ecosystem. And for service and solution providers, the program offers an aligned foundation to further scale their expertise and expand their role within the network.
