Catena-X, the first collaborative and open data ecosystem for the global automotive industry, has appointed new board members and advisors within a regular member assembly.

Jean-Baptiste Burtscher, Valeo
As Group External Affairs Sustainable Development and R&D Partnerships Director at Valeo, Mr. Burtscher brings extensive knowledge in building large, cross-cutting programs such as Valeo's climate neutrality plan. As a Tier-1 supplier, Mr. Burtscher is motivated to contribute his perspective to the development of Catena-X and generate value and benefits for global suppliers.

Luise Müller-Hofstede, Circulor
Mrs. Müller-Hofstede, Business Development & Strategic Partnership Director at Circulor has built her career on the intersection of technology, innovation, sustainability, and supply chains in external facing roles. She will contribute her expertise in the areas of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and internationalization to take suppliers and SMEs “by the hand” to participate in joined data spaces like Catena-X.

As Expert Leader Supply Chain at Renault Group and Chairman of the Board at Galia, Mr. Rosenzweig brings extensive experience in the global automotive industry. As Member of the Board at Catena-X he will focus on Internationalization, Networks, and Partnerships.

Jeffrey Thomas Schlageter, IBM
Mr. Schlageter is the General Manager Global Manufacturing and Energy Industries at IBM and a recognized industry expert with 25 years' experience of increasingly complex global leadership roles in General Management, Sales, Strategy, Marketing, Consulting and Partner Eco-systems. He will bring the best of IBM and our ecosystem of partners to represent the global IT perspective on the Executive Board.

Alexander Schleicher, Cofinity-X
Alexander Schleicher is Managing Director at Cofinity-X, the first operating company of Catena-X. He will contribute his expertise in the areas of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), internationalization and operation to shape the operating environment into a truly open, transparent and scalable ecosystem with everyone being able to contribute and generate business value.
Dr. Matthias Dohrn, President Global Procurement, BASF SE and Frank Göller, Head of Digital Production at Volkswagen AG are leaving the Board of Management.

Changes in the Advisory Board:
The Catena-X Advisory Board, which is characterized by special expertise in the automotive sector and primarily advises the board on strategic issues, will be expanded to include international experts. The following individuals will be added to the advisory board:

Shi Hao, Huawei Technologies
Shi Hao, the Huawei International Organization Management Director and former CSO of Huawei Europe Industry Development, joins the Catena-X advisory board as another international candidate. Representing Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, Mr. Hao is particularly committed to supporting the development of the Catena-X hub in China.

Eric Lambert, GALIA
Mr. Lambert serves as the Managing Director of GALIA, seconded by Stellantis. He has been a Member of the Board of Directors at Odette International since 2022 and brings over 32 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, and supply chain. As the initiator of the first hub of Catena-X, Eric Lampert feels a specific responsibility to pave the way for future hubs and help the association develop the hub concept.
With this personnel change, Catena-X is strengthening its leadership team to further advance the digital transformation in the automotive industry with a focus on SMEs and internationalization.
