Who we are

The Catena-X ecosystem consists of three areas that work together:

--> the Association,

in which the association members, with the support of the association's management office and the board of directors, exercise neutral data space governance and perform the tasks of standardisation, certification, release management, transfer and communication via the Catena-X data space.

--> the Development Environment,

which includes the Catena-X Eclipse Tractus-X Open Source project and the consortium.

which ensures the operation of the Catena-X data ecosystem. The current operating company is Cofinity-X.

All three environments have the same goal: to create transparency and provide an environment for the creation, operation and sharing of data chains along the automotive value chain.

We are proud to have a highly-committed group of volunteers on our management board. Representing diverse perspectives from across the automotive value chain, they define radical collaboration with their contributions to our working groups and will to solve the toughest problems facing our industry.

Our standards define us

Catena-X empowers all participants to compliantly collaborate within a shared and trusted global industry data space. Common standards mean that all our technologies, components, and processes are developed and operated according to uniform rules. This adds value, saves money, and maintains datasets.
