As of 1 October 2023, Anja Misselbeck will take over the position of Managing Director for Membership, Transfer and Office Management at the Catena-X office in Berlin.
Anja has extensive experience in the automotive industry and at the interface with politics. From 2003 to 2022 she held various positions within the Mercedes-Benz and Daimler Group, most recently for five years as Head of Regulatory Affairs for the Connected, Automated, Services and E-Mobility division. Since 2022 she has been Head of Technology Strategy at the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), focusing on digitalization.
"The development of new technologies excites me, especially if they are forward-looking for sustainable mobility," says Anja. "Ever since I heard about Catena-X, I have been absolutely convinced that it will completely change digitalization along the value chain in the automotive industry. The key success factor for me is the collaborative approach."
Anja studied at the Universities of Tübingen, Lüneburg and Aix-Marseille. She graduated in geography, public law and geoinformatics. In addition, she holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on sustainability management. We are delighted that Anja will bring her extensive expertise to build a Catena-X community as a solid foundation to further develop Catena-X.
Until the end of the year, Thorsten Georgi will support the association during this transition and will help Anja Misselbeck with her onboarding to the Association.
Maria Christina Bienek will leave Catena-X on 31 July 2023. We would like to thank Maria Christina Bienek for her commitment to building up Catena-X and wish her all the best for her future endeavors on a professional and a personal level.
