Catena-X signs MoU for Hub in Sweden
Catena-X is an industry-wide initiative aimed at creating a standardized, secure, sovereign and open data exchange ecosystem for the automotive industry. The Catena-X association has now signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Odette Sweden to establish a national Catena-X hub. Odette Sweden represents some of the biggest OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers of Sweden like NEVS, SKF Group, Volvo Cars or Volvo Truck, and has worked with standardization and best practice in the automotive industry since 1984.
The purpose of the Catena-X hub is to provide a central location for stakeholders in the Swedish automotive industry to access Catena-X services and standards. The hub will work towards achieving the overarching vision of the Catena-X association, which is to enable industry-wide collaborative data exchange across the global automotive value chain.
Catena-X goes global
The MoU provides a concrete overview of the planned internationalization concept, outlining the purpose and role of the national hub for Catena-X stakeholders. Additionally, it details the overarching framework and interaction between the hubs and the central Catena-X association.
The establishment of the national Catena-X hub in Sweden is an important step towards scaling the Catena-X across different regions and nations. Just last November, Catena-X had founded its first hub in France. We are excited about the prospect of numerous future hubs yet to come.
