Section B lists core services can only be operated once in the Catena-X data space. One of the main tasks of Cofinity-X is to provide the infrastructure and services to enable all participants to join and exchange data in a collaborative and federated way.
Cofinity-X aims to establish a collaborative and open data network of partners in the automotive ecosystem for value creation and sustainability across their value chain.
More than 30 Applications for the RFT
The tender procedure was competitive and followed three steps. We started with an application phase with a tender request on 18.01.23. We received over 30 applications. All candidates have been evaluated based on a transparent catalog of criteria. Three suitable candidates made it to the final round. After careful deliberation within the Executive Board, the award decision was made in favor of Cofinity-X.
We at Catena-X are excited to start the ramp up phase together with Cofinity-X and to soon be live. We want to thank all the qualified candidates for applying. The submissions and feedback we received convinced us once more that Catena-X is made up of an entire ecosystem of partners working together for joint success. To ensure that none of this passion is lost, we are in the final stages of setting up our certification process that will allow all interested parties to become active in the open and collaborative Catena-X data space.
We have made a start by awarding the category B- Services. On this basis, further operating companies can now gradually offer their services and expand the Catena-X data ecosystem.
