We are pleased to welcome eight new members. Among the new members is Continental AG, a key player in automotive value chains. Also joining as of now is a manufacturer of car batteries for electromobility, providers for digital interfaces, software development, coaching and coding, and a start-up in the field of carbon footprint monitoring. The growth of our network is an important step to integrate many different perspectives of the automotive value chain in the creation of the Catena-X data ecosystem.
With the Plateforme de la Filière Automobile - an association representing the French automotive sector - we are expanding the European and international scope of the association. Currently, our member companies come from all sectors along the supply chain across industries - from small and medium-sized enterprises to OEMs, suppliers, equipment manufacturers, research institutions, NGOs, and associations. The majority of Catena-X members are headquartered in Germany and Europe. Some companies are part of a larger group whose parent company is based in the UK, Japan, and the USA, for example.
