Another important step on the way to a data ecosystem in the automotive industry has been taken. The foundation of the German association Catena-X Automotive Network e.V. has been confirmed by the founding meeting. The founding members are ARENA2036, BASF SE, BMW AG, Deutsche Telekom AG, the German Aerospace Center e. V., German Edge Cloud GmbH & Co, Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, ISTOS GmbH, Mercedes-Benz AG, Robert Bosch GmbH, SAP SE, Schaeffler AG, Siemens AG, SupplyOn AG, ZF Friedrichshafen AG, Volkswagen AG and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft e.V.
Oliver Ganser from the BMW Group was elected Chairman of the Board of Catena-X e.V.. Prof. Dr. Boris Otto (Fraunhofer ISST) will be the deputy chair. Claus Cremers (Siemens) was elected treasurer. In addition, Steve Schindler-Le Huray (Bosch), Dr Matthias Dohrn (BASF), Frank Göller (Volkswagen), Hagen Heubach (SAP), Dr Jürgen Sturm (ZF) and Dr Inga von Bibra (Mercedes-Benz AG) were elected to the board.
